Calvert County residents stand strongly against data centers–but Jason Scaggs, not so much. Scaggs has said “he is open to a data center at Calvert Cliffs.” His campaign social media promotes the benefits of bringing a data center to Calvert.
Now Scaggs is flip-flopping, claiming to be against data centers. He has good reason to be concerned: Calvert County voters recently voted out all the incumbent county commissioners who voted against the data center moratorium.
Is Scaggs with Calvert County residents or big data centers? It’s anyone’s guess.
